The Upper Midwest Horseshoers' Association was founded for the purpose of fellowship among professional farriers. We extend that hand of fellowship to everybody by providing information on this website, in a printed newsletter (The Anvil's Echo), and by word of mouth.

It looks like we have several options this fall.

1)At Centaur Forge for the UMHA Clinic: Randy something (i think)

2)At a clinic in Dousman doing leg dissections and Hoof Mapping :) Dean Johaningmeier

3)Another place unknown to me yet: Dr. Steven O'Grady in September

UMHA Spring Clinic 2008

When: April 5th 2008
Where: Centaur Forge

Clinicians:
-Vern Powell & Matt Lybeck
-Lee Sackett & Don Tritz
-Red Renchin

Vern Powell & Matt Lybeck will be forging draft horse shoes and applying them to the horse. They will also offer some hands on instruction for anyone interested.

Lee Sackett & Don Tritz will be shoeing a Western Pleasure type horse and also offer hands on for those of you that request it.

Red Renchin will be demonstrating the glue on shoe process.
